Soya keema fried rice

This is the first recipe that i am sharing.And i am excited already.This soya keema recipe is not only delicious but it's also quick and nutritious.For those who hate to stick into the kitchen for a long time this recipe can rescue you. Without any further ado let's check out the ingredients and recipe for this.

Ingredients (serves 1-2)
  • Half cup of soya nuggets
  • 2 cups of cooked rice
  • 1/4th cup of green peas
  • 1 medium sized onion finely chopped
  • 1/2 tsp jeera
  • 1 dry red chilly
  • 1 tsp of pav bhaji masala
  • 1/2 tsp of aamchur powder
  • 1/4th tsp on garam masala
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • pinch of sugar(optional)
  • salt to taste     
Method

  1. Boil the soya nuggets and cut them into small pieces more like a keema.(you can even churn them into a processor or mixer for few seconds)
  2. Heat the pan and add oil into it.let it heat up.once it's hot add whole red chilly,chopped onions and jeera.Cook it till the onions change it's colour and the aroma of the jeera comes out.
  3. Once that's done add the peas and the soya keema.Mix it well and cook for another minute.
  4. Now add in the Pav bhaji masala and amchur masala and give a good stir.
  5. Add in the sugar and salt now.Give a quick mix and pour the boiled rice and sprinkle the garam masala  in it and give one last mix to all the ingredients.(i used a medium quality rice.But if you want you can use basmati even.It adds to the taste.)
  6. Your Soya keema fried rice is ready and pipping hot.The only thing left for you is to Eat it up! :)
